These are the 1st pictures we took of the old farmhouse.  From the moment we steppd in the house we were amazed at the workmanship and quality of materials used.  They really built houses to last in those olden days!  Though it was a mess the wood floors shown through in fantastic condition.  And the staircase shows some beautiful wear that give it a lasting impression.  We were hoping to be able to restore this aged beauty though we knew it would take a lot of work and patience.  Some things we may not be able to restore but we will try our best to bring her back to her original glory.

 

So much was left behind including furniture, clothes, and bedding.  Enjoy the mess, it won't be there for long ;)
